The QM-Pilot is a software solution from the IT company Abel Systems in Basel (Switzerland). It supports companies in the implementation of all areas of quality management from introduction to certification.
INITIAL SITUATION
Abel Systems based the acquisition of leads for QM-Pilot primarily on a cold-calling approach. The goal of the Swiss company was to establish an additional acquisition channel online. Prior to our collaboration, Abel Systems had already made initial attempts internally and with a local agency - but without the desired success.

PROCESS
STEP 1
Before we started working together, we held a workshop to analyzeAbel systems’ initial situation and, as well as the key features and USPs of the QM-Pilot software. It turned out that a combination of search engine optimisation and search engine advertising was the optimal solution for a long-term strategy with first short-term results.
STEP 2
Since the foundation of any successful B2B online campaign is a compelling website, our first step was to optimise the structure of the QM-Pilot website. The aim was to make it easy for potential customers to understand the benefits of the product and how to use it. We also advised Abel Systems on the use of call-to-action buttons, references and powerful images.
STEP 3
Thorough keyword analysis is crucial to the success of a B2B online campaign. This is the only way to target the search queries that are of interest to the narrowly defined target group for the QM Pilot and to avoid wastage.
STEP 4
Based on the keyword analysis, we developed an SEO strategy and a content marketing plan to create relevant content for the target audience. Our team of writers then worked closely with Abel Systems to produce articles for the blog section of the website, such as the "Quality Management Goals" article.

Google Ad placement
SEO in the B2B sector is an effective, but long-term online communication measure, which is optimally supported by Google Ads (SEA) for short-term results. Based on the keyword analysis already developed, we complemented the content marketing with the placement of ads.
